Veterans

The Staff Sergeant Parker Gordon Fox Suicide Prevention Grant Program (SSG Fox SPGP) enables VA to provide resources toward community-based suicide prevention efforts to meet the needs of Veterans and their families through outreach, suicide prevention services, and connection to VA and community resources.

Hope  Exists Veterans Mobile Outreach is a dedicated initiative committed to  addressing the critical issues of suicide awareness and reconnecting  veterans with essential VA services. Recognizing the unique challenges  faced by our brave men and women who have served in the military, this  program strives to bridge the gap and offer vital support. The outreach  effort is not only focused on raising awareness about the prevalence of  suicide among veterans but also on providing a lifeline to those who may  be struggling. By mobilizing resources and reaching out directly to  veterans, the program aims to create a network that fosters a sense of  community and belonging. In addition to linking veterans with necessary  VA services, Hope Exists is dedicated to establishing a social and  emotional outlet. Through organized activities, events, and peer  support, the initiative works to create a supportive environment where  veterans can connect, share experiences, and find solace. By combining  suicide awareness, reconnection to VA services, and the provision of  social and emotional outlets, Hope Exists Veterans Mobile Outreach  stands as a beacon of hope for those who have served, demonstrating that  their well-being is a priority and that they are not alone in their  journey towards healing.
